Joe has spent over 20 years working in the animal welfare sector, dedicated to preventing cruelty and suffering, and promoting kindness. Starting out as an RSPCA Inspector, and for the last 7 years as Head of Farming, Welfare and Wellbeing for RSPCA Assured. Joe serves on 2 global boards, including One Welfare Phoenix, and is a member of the Animal Welfare Research Network stakeholder advisory boards.
She passionately believes that a sustainable and happy future for all beings is possible only if we use a One Medicine approach and embrace the human animal connection.
