Anna is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and Urologist at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Consultant Paediatric Urologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Hull York Medical School.
She obtained a PhD in 2015 for her thesis entitled “Regenerative Medicine Applications in Paediatric Urology: Barriers and Solutions”. Her ongoing research activities continue in the areas of: tissue engineering in the urinary tract, recurrent urinary tract infections in children, medical innovation in paediatrics and the neuropathic bladder.
Anna reviews for several journals in the field of paediatric urology. She also mentors young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who aspire to a career in medicine.
