Canine Arthritis Management (CAM) is an online information and education resource for caregivers of osteoarthritic (OA) dogs, and the professionals who support them.
What do we do?
We provide current, evidence-based advice on all aspects of OA management, from awareness through identification, diagnosis, management, and end-of-lifecare. We are a forward-thinking, highly motivated organisation striving for improved welfare concerning chronic pain identification and management, and are keen to work with like-minded individuals and organisations.
What services do we offer?
We support caregivers of dogs with and without OA by providing free resources on our website, podcast, and social media, as well as low-fee education through our member zone and courses. We support veterinary and allied professionals through the provision of courses, webinars, consultancy and our annual event, The Chronic Pain Symposium. We work with the profession and industry through providing practice training, consultancy and courses.
How do we support One Medicine?
Canine osteoarthritis is common and can cause major welfare issues if poorly managed. Growing interest aims to improve its detection and treatment. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration and translation of clinical evidence, we aim to share the latest understanding in canine OA management.
