Join our exclusive members’ club and come together with like-minded businesses, organisations and individuals who share our vision – to create a future where both humans and animals benefit equally from medical progress because vets, doctors and researchers routinely collaborate and share. This is ONE Medicine.
What is the 100 Club?
We are inviting you to play a crucial role in driving forward the One Medicine vision. The 100 Club is an exclusive group for those passionate about supporting One Medicine, by committing to a minimum donation of £100 per month, for at least 12 months. The 100 Club has just 100 membership spots – once the spaces have gone, that’s it – the club is full!
What is One Medicine?
One Medicine is the concept whereby human and animal healthcare advance hand in hand with vets, doctors and researchers collaborating to ensure that all humans and animals benefit from equal and sustainable medical progress, but not at the expense of an animal’s life. As a charity, we are unique leaders and drivers of this vision in the clinical environment and in public.
Current education, policy and funding are not structured to support collaboration between human and veterinary medicine. Humanimal Trust exists to change this, to ensure medical progress is made equally and sustainably for humans and animals moving forward. We believe that the world would be fairer and more respectful for humans and animals if One Medicine were more widely understood and delivered.

What impact will the 100 Club have on One Medicine?
At Humanimal Trust, we have been driving awareness, and evidencing the benefits of One Medicine since the charity launched in 2014. We encourage collaboration and fund key research to advance scientific knowledge and professional practice in human and veterinary medicine. This research is expensive but vital, and inflation and the cost-of-living crisis are having an impact on our finances.
Being able to rely on regular income from a club like this helps with sustainability, and means we can plan for the future advancement of One Medicine. It empowers us to make informed decisions on how we spend the money to maximise our impact, and allows us to commit to long-term research projects with huge potential to save both human and animal lives.
An example of what we can achieve with regular long-term support is our recently launched Cancer Discovery Fund – a £250,000 fund to encourage collaborative, One Medicine research projects that can improve cancer diagnosis; develop new treatments or improve existing ones; and improve quality of life for all species with cancer.
We now need your help to enable us to continue funding large scale, life-saving projects like this, as well as to continue our work to increase awareness and improve understanding of One Medicine and its benefits, and to influence legislative, policy and practice change.
Your support will:
- Advance One Medicine, driving collaboration between human and animal health.
- Enable knowledge sharing among human and animal medical professionals, researchers and students.
- Expand the scope of research we can fund, unlocking more discoveries.
- Support large-scale research projects, like the Cancer Discovery Fund.
- Deliver awareness campaigns and educational events to inspire action and understanding.
