Fi Harrison

Executive Director

Fi Harrison is the Executive Director of Humanimal Trust.

Fi brings more than 25 years of experience across fundraising, communications, strategy and leadership within the charity and higher education sectors. Most recently, she worked with researchers and corporate partners at the University of Birmingham, helping to strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful impact. Prior to that, she spent five years leading fundraising and communications at Birmingham Dogs Home, championing animal welfare and organisational sustainability.

Her career has been defined by helping charities create lasting change, building strong partnerships and delivering sustainable growth. With extensive experience spanning research, collaboration and animal welfare, Fi is well placed to lead Humanimal Trust into its next chapter.

Outside of work, lifelong animal lover Fi is mum to one human and three dogs. She enjoys yoga, hiking, live music and festivals, and at weekends you’ll find her exploring the countryside with her dogs.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about helping charities create meaningful and lasting change, and I can’t think of a more inspiring mission than advancing One Medicine for the benefit of all species. What excites me most about Humanimal Trust is its ambition. One Medicine has the potential to transform the future of healthcare through greater collaboration between human and veterinary medicine.”
