Alex, Science and Research Outreach Manager, has postgraduate and postdoctoral research experience in human biomedical sciences, alongside several years’ experience in science communication and public engagement across commercial and not‑for‑profit organisations.

She is deeply passionate about One Medicine and its sustainable, forward‑thinking approach to collaboration and knowledge‑sharing in research and healthcare, and the significant benefits it offers to both human and animal patients.

With a professional background in human science and a childhood spent surrounded by goats, pet ducks and sheep, Alex is very happy to be able to bring these two worlds together in her role at Humanimal Trust.
