Humanimal Trust at the Lillingstone Lectures 2024

Humanimal Trust is pleased to announce that our CEO, Joe Bailey, will present a lecture entitled It’s Time to Connect – One Medicine for Humans and Animals, at the Royal Latin School in Buckingham on Wednesday, 6th, March, at 6 pm.
‘What is One Medicine? How can embracing this concept ensure that humans and animals benefit from equal and sustainable medical progress?
Humanimal Trust, a charity founded by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick ten years ago, advocates for a One Medicine approach because all patients matter regardless of species. It is time to connect, to bridge the divide between human and animal medicine, driving collaboration and the sharing of knowledge for the benefit of all. We want to save time, money and ultimately lives.’
This follows Humanimal Trusts Education Manager Rachel Jackson’s successful two-day event in March 2023, when Rachel shared insight into the significance of One Medicine with some of the Royal Latin school’s pupils looking to become the Doctors, Dentists and Veterinarians, Nurses and Researchers of the future.
The lecture is free to attend and open to all local community members. The Lillingstone Trust provides the funding.
