Humanimal Trust launches first-ever Virtual Pet Show

Humanimal Trust is inviting animal lovers to take part in its inaugural Virtual Pet Show 2025 – a heart-warming online event that celebrates the incredible connection we share with our companion animals.

Whether furry, feathered, hairy or scaled, every animal has a story. This unique initiative offers animal guardians across the globe a chance to showcase their beloved companions and share the powerful ways they support each other’s wellbeing.

The Virtual Pet Show also serves a greater purpose – helping to fund vital research that benefits both human and animal patients, advancing the Trust’s mission to drive One Medicine.

Sarah Colbourne, Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at Humanimal Trust, said: “The Virtual Pet Show is more than just a gallery of adorable animals – it’s about compassion, healing and the profound partnership between humans and animals. It’s also a chance to support One Medicine, a progressive approach that unites doctors, vets and researchers for the benefit of both humans and animals, without harming either.

“Every day, companion animals provide emotional support, comfort and connection. This Show is our way of honouring their impact on our lives, while working towards a world where knowledge is shared across species and medical advances are made ethically and collaboratively.”

Taking part is easy and open to everyone:

Entrants will be featured on Humanimal Trust’s revamped website and across social media, celebrating the deep bonds between humans and their animal companions. Sarah, said: “By taking part, you’re not only celebrating the animals who brighten our lives – you’re helping fund a better future for all of us.”
