Rachel Jackson, our Schools Education Manager, recently visited Wrexham University to teach a class of final year Veterinary Nurse students about One Medicine after being invited by their lecturer, Jo Oldfield
Rachel said she was ‘delighted to visit the University and they were such a lovely group of students. They had previously learnt about One Health and One Welfare and I was there to teach them about One Medicine and its importance for humans and animals - to round up the module of learning for them’.
Vet nurses are on the front line of animal healthcare and if they have a greater knowledge of One Medicine, and our aims at Humanimal Trust , they can be part of the change for good, advancing together, for the benefit of humans and animals.
