Sponsor Trustee Ben on St Malo to Nice Cycle

As part of One Medicine Month in May, Dr Ben Marshall, Consultant Respiratory Physician at the University Hospital Southampton and Trustee of Humanimal Trust, is taking on the 950-mile cycle challenge from St Malo to Nice over 10 days.

Ben will raise money for Humanimal Trust and NTM (Non-Tuberculosis Mycobacteria) Network, two charities he is passionate about.  He will cycle through no fewer than 19 of the country’s regional départements as he rides through the heart of rural France, from Brittany right through to the French Riviera.

Ben said: "I'm excited to embark on a fundraising journey for two exceptional charities: Humanimal Trust and NTM Network UK. Humanimal Trust drives collaboration between vets, doctors, researchers, nurses and allied professions so that all humans and animals benefit from sustainable and equal medical progress, but not at the expense of an animal’s life. This is One Medicine. NTM (non-tuberculous mycobacterial) Network UK focuses on improving the management of NTM infections, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. By supporting my cycle challenge, you are helping to foster a future where medical progress is sustainable and benefits all species. Let's work together to drive change and support these causes that matter to us all."

Fundraising is so important to us at Humanimal Trust. We are grateful to anyone who takes on a challenge like this, raising both money to help us continue our work, and just as importantly, awareness of what we do, enabling us to create a fairer future for all species.
